I am honored to serve as your Pierce County Executive. Pierce County is a wonderful place to live, work and play, and I am committed to ensuring that we continue to prosper, despite difficult economic times.
Under my leadership, Pierce County has re-prioritized the delivery of core government services, trimmed the size of government, consolidated programs, and challenged managers to find operational efficiencies while improving the quality of public service. In addition, we have successfully preserved farmland and open spaces, provided public access to more than two miles of Puget Sound beach, and improved the transparency of our operations.
Ultimately, providing excellent and accountable government services to the residents and businesses of Pierce County is at the very core of our mission.
We are making important decisions today to protect and enhance the quality of life for our children and grandchildren. Please support my campaign so that we can keep Pierce County moving forward.
